Personal Importance of Task Serving as President of the UW Mortar Board chapter helped me bring my passion for service back to campus. I appreciated this opportunity to work with a team of students, focused on service, leadership, and scholarship just like me. Leading this close community, I continued to develop important management skills that I take with me into other organizations. Finally, I also learned about different perspectives to service leadership as I worked with the diverse Mortar Board group, composed of majors as diverse as neurobiology, international relations, electrical engineering, and psychology. |
