All knowledge is multifaceted. Any one fact, event, or story can be analyzed from various mindsets and perspectives. True understanding of any concept, comes through learning about it in many different ways - scientifically, personally, emotionally, psychologically. I intend to understand the world around me from as many perspectives as I can. Concretely, this is why I have majored in both biochemistry and comparative history of ideas, while also being a part of the interdisciplinary honors program. During my time at UW, I have taken courses on physical chemistry, foreign policy, film, even witchcraft. Through this interdisciplinary learning, I aim to be better prepared to solve complex problems, on individual, organizational, and even national levels, throughout my career.
